Hey there, friend! I'm Asher, the brains and heart behind Born Royal, the dreamer turning threads into wearable inspiration, and your partner in all things cozy chic – with an extra dose of faith, of course! ✨

My journey started in 2006, but really took off at the end of 2020 after struggling for months through lockdown and our “new normal”. It was a season of change, dreams, and, a prayer that changed my life. 

I always lived by the motto "my way or the highway" as long as I can remember...but this particular year I was continuously finding myself on the highway, with not much control. So, I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and whispered, "Alright, God, let's do this your way. Guide me; show me the path. Just tell me what to do."

Seeking a sign, I glanced at my computer screen, and there it was – a subtle message that seemed like a divine nudge. Hesitant, I dismissed it as mere imagination and continued to scroll.... and dared to ask for another sign. To my surprise, lightning struck twice, and yet, doubt lingered. Was it merely coincidence?

Yearning for clarity, I requested yet another sign. Miraculously, for the third time, the same message graced my screen. As if God had conspired, my youngest daughter entered the room. Her sweet voice carrying the lyrics of Carrie Underwood's soul-stirring anthem, "Jesus Take the Wheel." A shiver ran down my spine as she sang, "take it from my hands, 'cause I can't do it on my own." My mouse hovered over the message on my screen as she continued, "save me from this road I'm on....Jesus take the wheel"

In that moment, the Spirit spoke louder than ever. I summoned the courage to tap on the screen, and there it was – ecommerce. And my little shop was born ✨

Sometimes, the answers we seek come in whispers, signs, and unexpected melodies. This was a career move that allowed me to design shirts (yes, you'll find many faith based designs!), sip coffee in my PJs with my bible, and soak up precious moments with my two amazing teen girls, my rockstar husband, and our two furry mischief-makers.

Now, let's talk about the heart and soul stitched into every piece – our clothes! Each design carries a piece of my story, infused with faith.
